MKM – EXCLUSIVE MILITARY TRAINING
Military Krav Maga (“MKM”) provides the shortest route to hand-to-hand combat proficiency with minimum (or even no) sustainment training. A few core tactical movements may be applied to myriad situations. Importantly, MKM builds and incorporates an Airman’s existing hand-to-hand combat skill set.
Defensive preparation: The three most crucial elements of combat preparation: (1) MENTAL (attack the attacker mindset); (2) TACTICAL (tactical advantage through aggressive movement into the adversary/breaking contact) and (3) PHYSICAL preparation.
MKM’s philosophy is direct and simple.
Emphasizes defending against any manner of unarmed and armed attacks, while safeguarding personal weapons; to incapacitate an adversary and break contact.
Relies on instinctive body movements, which are easily learned, retained and performed under stress while incorporating an Airmen’s pre-existing hand-to-hand combat skillset;
Based on building blocks that, that when combined, allow an Airman to decisively prevail in life-threatening situations with non-lethal and lethal force options;
MKM’s military mindset or goal is to neutralize an enemy combatant with extreme prejudice:
DEBILITATE/INCAPACITATE.
BREAK CONTACT.
(*Note: non-lethal and lethal options are both incorporated as directed/ROE.)
“Debilitate the head; debilitate the body.”
For both unarmed and armed situations, MKM core combatives facilitate stunning, maiming and closing to break down an enemy’s anatomical structure and then break contact.
MKM ground-survival focuses strictly on military applications: creating separation to place an Airman’s main weapon back on line or to deploy a secondary or concealed weapon.
Ground survival tactics are the same as the standing tactics (with a few modifications).
MKM has been successfully taught to SEAL Instructors, MCMAP Instructors, MACP Instructors, Royal Marine Instructors, Provost Marshals, Military Police, Shore Patrol and Air Force Security Personnel.

DEPARTMENT OF THE ARMY — FORT BRAGG
SUBJECT: After Actions Review for Training Conducted with the Israeli Krav Maga Association (IKMA) (Gidon System (GS) Lead by David Kahn (United States IKMA (GS) Chief Instructor)
1. Purpose: Observation of the following beneficial factors of adding Israeli Krav Maga to the overall training of both law enforcement (LE) and military units.
2. Bottom line up front. David Kahn and his team are, by far, the best there is, and teach the best version of the best system there is. If you want to arm yourself with the best tools to survive any encounter (Civilian, Law Enforcement (LE), or Military Combat) David Kahn, and the IKMA (GS), are your best option.
3. Historically, development of Self-defense systems and martial arts occurred from the necessities of the existing time-period and social norms concerning violence. For example, Karate for the Samurai or Kali for villagers of the Philippines (whose conflicts were tribal and weapons of choice where whatever they had laying around). Societies developed these systems and martial arts in order to, quickly and efficiently, train Soldiers. This was so they would possess the capabilities to close with and destroy their adversaries in hand-to-hand combat if and when necessary. lmi Lichtenfeld designed Israeli Krav Maga in the 1940s in order to address the modern combatant. Whether dealing with a mugger on the streets, or a foreign adversary on the battlefield. No other system is as modern or effective as Krav Maga.
4. The IKMA (GS) is the only true Krav Maga system under Grand Master Haim Gidon (successor to lmi Lichtenfeld). It is, by far, any agencies best option for training its' Soldiers and/or LE officers. A single ten-hour seminar with David Kahn, and his team, proved to be worth a year of training in any other dojo I have attended. I have trained on several forms of martial arts and self-defense systems. I always shop around for the best instructor with the most practical training. David and his team are undeniably the best there is. I have driven fourteen hours at a time, on several occasions, to attend training with him. I always leave the seminars absolutely motivated to come back to base and share what I learned with my Soldiers.
5. Krav Maga has grown in popularity in the west in recent decades. There are several different interpretations of the system available in the US (e.g. Warrior Krav Maga /Krav Maga World Wide). Most of them teach substandard techniques, with the addition of cardiovascular endurance training, in order to appeal to those more susceptible to advertising and marketing. The idea being, "Get fit and learn to defend yourself

overnight." While Krav Maga is designed to be simple to understand. There still needs to be much emphasis on the subtle fine points that make any technique effective. Far removed from the source, these schools often sacrifice proper technique for mass production. This can have fatal consequences when someone uses those techniques for actual self-defense. I have also frequented several introductory courses where the facility told me they strictly focus on civilian self-defense. There are three tiers to Krav Maga (Military, Civilian, and Law Enforcement). Any "master'' of the system should know and be able to instruct them all. As a Law Enforcement Officer, I also have a firm understanding of the Use of Force (UOF) continuum. I also understand the legal ramifications for not understanding the UOF continuum. David Kahn and the IKMA
(GS) are true masters of the system. They will ensure that the student gets every detail and piece of knowledge they require for the ·techniques they are taught to be effective.
6. Israeli Krav Maga under the IKMA (GS) is also a great plug and play system. If your agency has an existing system where you believe there are gaps in its' current techniques, or dilemmas which your system does not address, Krav Maga will fill those gaps easily. I have personally found this to be applicable for LE systems, military combatives, and other martial arts/self-defense systems alike.
7. Additionally, if you attend the seminars to get hands on training, and a professional instructors critique on your form (which I highly recommend), the DVDs and books hold nothing back in terms of helping you to refresh your memory. The five books (approximately 1000 pages worth of instructional material) are extremely well articulated and literally spell out every detail you need to know from a strategic approach. They articulate all the subtle nuances, which make a technique work. The four DVD volumes (approximately 27 hours of instructional material) do an excellent job of using a by the numbers approach to teaching and demonstrating the technique, as well as elaborating on key points. For those who have served in an instructor position, in either the military or law enforcement, the previously mentioned materials more than portray a Training Support Package (TSP) or Program of Instruction (POI). In addition, the materials previously mentioned will entirely refresh your techniques acquired by any seminar attended in person with David.
8. Once again, bottom line up front. David Kahn and the IKMA (GS) are by far the best there is, teaching the best version of the best system there is. If you want to arm yourself with the best tools to survive any encounter (Civilian, Law Enforcement, or Military Combat) David Kahn, and the IKMA (GS), are your best option.

Dear Mr. Kahn,
Please accept my gratitude for being invited to the Israeli Tactical Shooting & Counter-Terrorism Course that you organized for 23 Apr 04 at Sandy Hook Armory. The techniques and tactics taught were definitely applicable to what TACOPS, ACTNY are involved in on a daily basis. Most of the procedures shown were for close encounters and that is a reality of the environment we work in. The hallway movements, room entries, and team movements closely duplicated a vessel search.
Many of the actual shooting exercises are not part of USCG courses and need to be practiced. The pivoting from one target to the next, shooting while running and in the prone position are all valid training tools for a real encounter. We utilize long guns as well as personal defense weapons and the instructor covered close quarter battle (CQB) drills for all weapons.
Please accept my thanks once again for this course and keep me in mind for future seminars of this nature.

Dear David,
After experiencing your demonstration of Krav Maga, I am compelled to write and commend you on your knowledge and skill of the subject and the simplicity by which you convey that knowledge.
As a former Special Agent with both the United State Secret Service and the FBI, I have been through extensive training in hand to hand combat and weapons retention. Your demonstration of Krav Maga provided a unique, yet simple alternative to effectively deal with real life self defense situations.
I would highly recommend your teachings and the art of Krav Maga to any law enforcement entity, security professional or individual civilian without hesitation. Krav Maga certainly provides a solid foundation and the self confidence to handle potentially and extremely threatening encounters.
Seldom does a person have the privilege to experience the teachings of someone with your degree of knowledge, passion and character.

New Jersey State Police (NJSP)
Mr. Kahn,
I cannot thank you enough for providing two outstanding trainings. The first, for the New Jersey State Police (NJSP), Office of Protective Services forty hour Fundamentals of Executive Protection Training Course in August of 2018 at the NJSP Academy in Sea Girt, NJ. The second, an in-service training to the members of the NJSP Executive Protection Unit in October of 2018, opening up your facility to us in Bordentown, NJ.
The participants in the August training were from four State Police agencies (TX, IL, MN, NY), the U.S. Federal Air Marshals and members of various units throughout the NJSP. All 28 participants gave your Police Krav Maga (Gidon System) close quarter defensive tactics and disarming training instruction and practical exercises a perfect “ten” (ten being the highest grade). In their evaluation narratives, the words “outstanding”, “excellent”, “practical”, “simple and highly effective” appeared multiple times.
The feedback from the in-service training in October for the members of the Executive Protection Unit echoed the same responses as above. These members are on the front line and appreciated specifically the close quarter disarming techniques.
All the training and instruction you and your staff including Don Melnick, Chris Eckel, Joe Drew and Paul Karleen provided, has given the participants real effective techniques to be used in an unpredictable and increasing dangerous world. We look forward to future training opportunities with you and your staff and truly appreciate your willingness to share your expertise with us.
Thank you,

Dear David:
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for the honor and privilege of training with you and your staff. Your professionalism and motivation were most inspiring and clearly showed in all facets of training. Having attended various self-defense and weapons retention courses I can say without reservation that the techniques you taught are superior to anything I have learned. You personally insured that all the officers were able to grasp the new concepts and felt comfortable executing them Your patience and candor should be mostly heartily commended as it made all feel at ease learning new concepts. The tactics learned are essential in officer survival and situational awareness and taught those trained how to detect a confrontation and avoid a worsening situation. I firmly believe that your system should be incorporated into our training plan and all officers taught the benefit of Israeli Krav Maga.
If this department or myself can be of any assistance in the future please do not hesitate to contact us.

New Jersey State Police, Executive Protection Unit
Dear David,
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for opening your facility and sharing your expertise in Israeli Krav Maga with members of the New Jersey State Police, Executive Protection Unit. The simplicity of the moves, coupled with the effectiveness of the techniques, makes this training curriculum useful in real world situations. I particularly liked the disarming training and the simultaneous "block and strike" techniques utilized in Krav Maga. Self defense and disarming techniques are an integral part of providing personal protection that must never be neglected.
Your professional instruction and enthusiastic participation along with Abel Kahn and your entire staff made this training experience a true success. Israeli Krav Maga has further prepared the New Jersey State Police, Executive Protection Unit, in achieving our mission of protecting our principals. We look forward to training with you and your impressive Krav Maga fighting system in the future.
Thank you.

Mercer County Police Academy
On behalf of the first class of the Mercer County Police Academy we would like to extend our deepest and most sincere gratitude for the training session that you hosted on May 31, 2007. We have been studying defensive tactics throughout our entire time at the academy, but nothing has been as impressive or seemed as effective and the Israeli Krav Maga techniques you taught us.
We have had some exposure to Israeli Krav Maga through some of our instructors, who are students at your school. The difference in seeing what this discipline can do by someone who has mastered it was beyond impressive. Your style of teaching was as impressive and just as effective as your craft: quick, meaningful and to the point. You showed us exactly what we needed to do, and your vigilance while instructing allowed you to step in and quickly adjust and correct any problems we were experiencing.
The opportunity to benefit from your instruction will be remembered as one of the most fortunate experiences in our academy. We feel these tactics can truly make the difference between life and death in a dangerous encounter. The only downside we found is that we did not have more time to learn from you. We hope that future classes will be fortunate enough to benefit from your instruction and that other academies will follow suit in an effort to provide the best possible training to the law enforcement officers in this state.
We again thank you for the opportunity to benefit for you impressive instruction and comprehensive introduction to Israeli Krav Maga.

FBI Academy in Quantico, VA
David,
I wanted to send a quick thank you out to you and your staff. I know you have a busy schedule, and we all appreciated your excellent instruction. I believe all that attended were impressed with the training, and learned some new techniques that are practical and efficient. Safe travels on your way back home to New Jersey. I will talk to you soon, and look forward to training with you in the future.
Take care,

Thank you once again for allowing us the privilege and opportunity to observe and train in your Krav Maga system today with the MCMAP Instructors at Quantico. As we discussed with you today, there are many facets of the training we did today that we can all learn from and adopt your principles into principles of law enforcement DT system. Once again, we both enjoyed the level of training and the dedication to developing Military and Law Enforcements communities and their tactics programs. Your insight into what we as civilian law enforcement officers are required to do out on the streets vs. military combatives was refreshing to hear.
We would like to coordinate an opportunity for other OT Instructors, Staff, Tactical operators, and Joint staff, here at our academy to either observe a demonstration of your system; or better yet, to participate in some "hands on" training. If you are able to, I would definitely appreciate a copy of your latest book about your system. We hope to coordinate a future training with you and your staff. Thanks again!

NEW JERSEY WOMEN IN LAW ENFORCEMENT
Critical to a law enforcement professional's survival are the will to survive and the skills to survive. We accept the reality that our lives can be permanently altered in a moment. That is where the Israeli Krav Maga "contact combat" system comes in and provides the skills to survive. When the need to deliver is paramount Israeli Krav Maga is truly an effective practical fighting system.
Thank you for the amazing demonstration and hands on training you provided for the New Jersey Women in Law Enforcement on February 28, 2008. The instruction provided by you, Abel Kahn and Mike Delahanty was first class and the application to law enforcement professionals is endless. Our members are still talking about it!
You and your instructors were the ultimate gentlemen and made every member feel included and engaged with your style and grace. The members of New Jersey Women in Law Enforcement look forward to a long relationship with you and your instructional staff.

NJ Transit Police Department
I just wanted to take a moment to express my gratitude for the Israeli Krav Maga Weapon Defense Training that you provided on April 9th, 2015. It is obvious that as Chief Instructor of the Israeli Krav Maga Association your knowledge of Defensive Tactics is extremely beneficial to the Law Enforcement community. We trained and drilled on choke defense, bear hug attacks, edged weapon defense, take downs and control techniques, all from unknown angles, attacks from the 6 to simulate a possible ambush. We cover many of these skills in our DT program, but the opportunity to do these skill sets "hands on" with M4, Shotgun, as well as handgun is extremely beneficial. As we know the ability to actually apply these skills to memory is key to being able to put them to use if needed in a confrontation. I appreciate that you stuck to real world tactics and your delivery of the lesson was well taken in by a Law Enforcement/ military audience, additionally it is apparent that you are well aware of Law Enforcement rules of engagement.
Thank you also for providing weapon disarming, close quarters/tubular combat, as well as removing subjects from vehicles during MV Stops in addition to what was planned for the day.
Krav Maga seems to be a recognized training source by the PTC, and is chosen as the basis of the DT program at the State Police academy. Due to that, it would be advantageous to continue to follow up on this program especially if given the opportunity to participate in the upcoming train the trainer program, this will be a good addition to our DT program. So please keep me updated as to future available training.

Subj: LETTER OF RECOMMENDATION
1. On behalf of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Center of Excellence (MACE) I would like to extend my appreciation to David B. Kahn and H. C. “Sparky” Bollinger, Maj USMC (Ret.) as well as their professional training team. On several occasions they have trained the top level Marine Corps Martial Arts Program (MCMAP) Instructor-Trainers as well as instructors of the FBI and DEA academy at our facility. Their clear and concise instruction in military hand to hand combat, as well as in law enforcement defensive tactics is of the highest caliber.
2. Both of these gentlemen hold extensive backgrounds in military hand to hand combat and law enforcement defensive tactics and are recognized as experts in the field. They have over 50 years of combined martial arts experience and are seasoned professional instructors.
3. Additionally, I would be remised if I didn’t mention their instructional team; they are true professionals. Rinaldo Rossi, Ronnie Hughes, Ron Klem, Don Melnick, and Michael Gokey, are all highly regarded instructors in the U.S. and abroad. I would not hesitate to recommend any of these fine individuals when it comes to martial arts.
4. Questions pertaining to this recommendation should be addressed to the undersigned at joseph.shusko@usmc.mil.

New Jersey Department of Law and Safety Division of Police
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for providing your expert instruction during the Israeli Krav Maga Defensive Tactics Course hosted by the Firearms/SelfDefense Training Unit, Training Bureau, at the NJSP Academy, Sea Girt, NJ from December 6-12, 2006. This represented the first Israeli Krav Maga training offered to members of our organization, and based on submitted critique forms, the attendees were extremely impressed with the course content.
It is important for our tactics to continually evolve as new techniques and defensive tactics systems are developed. The Israeli Krav Maga martial arts form is a new and cutting edge system geared to ending confrontations in an efficient manner while limiting collateral damage to the trooper and innocent bystanders.
Again, I would like to thank you for providing this critical instruction to our troopers, and I know the Academy Staff is looking forward to working with you in the future on issues of common interest.

New Jersey State Police Academy - SWAT Team Troopers
Thank you for taking time out of your busy schedule to come to the New Jersey State Police Academy and conduct a weapon retention seminar for our SWAT Team Troopers. The Krav Maga techniques that were taught were easily learned and very effective. Weapon retention is a integral part of every law enforcement officer's self defense arsenal. The proven techniques of Krav Maga provide any police officer with the most effective means possible to fend off an attacker and retain their weapon.
All participants at the seminar were very impressed with the expertise of all the instructors. The techniques learned at the seminar were very applicable to situations any police officer may find themselves involved in during their tour of duty. All Troopers were especially impressed with the rapport you immediately created with the participants. Your knowledge, skill and personality create a great learning environment for even the most hardcore Troopers in the New Jersey State Police.
Again, thank you for giving your time to the New Jersey State Police. It is sincerely appreciated. We look forward to continuing our relationship with you and the Israeli Krav Maga association.

New Jersey State Police - Field Operations
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for providing your expert instruction during the Israeli Krav Maga Defense Tactics Course hosted by Troop "A" Field Operations, Metro South Unit at Buena Station on August 19, 2011. The Krav Maga techniques taught by you and your highly skilled and professional instructors are very practical to the real world encounters troopers assigned to the Metro South Unit are likely to be confronted with. These Camden City based troopers routinely encounter armed and dangerous subjects during high intensity crime suppression and interdiction details. At times these details lead to a use of force encounter making this type of training valuable. The weapon retention/defense and self-defense portions of your course taught troopers a highly effective means of fending off an attacker while maintaining control of their duty weapon.
The participants in your training found the experience to be extremely valuable for protecting their own safety and that of any innocent bystanders. Troopers assigned to Metro South Unit work in a densely populated urban area and the ability to quickly and decisively neutralize a threat is critical to protecting life and property. The tactics of your Israeli Krav Maga Defensive Tactics Course enable just that.
Your professional and enthusiastic approach to instruction allowed for an effective learning environment. The New Jersey State Police appreciates your continuing support and looks forward to future training opportunities with you and your highly skilled and professional staff. I would like to specifically thank the following instructors who assisted with the training:

Our unit is comprised of US Air Force Security Forces, US Navy Master at Arms, and DoD civilian police. So setting a standard of execution for tactics & combatives is very integral to the operation we run. I have met with dozens of Tactical/Combatives Trainers trying to produce this, but you were the only team with an IDF Special Operations background, an RCMP background and a Legal background. You were also the only team to ask for a copy of our Use of Force model in order to tailor make our combatives training and provide a free Proof Of Concept training course. This was training money well spent because I cannot put a price on the lives of my Airmen, Sailors and Police officers! A stellar referral from the NJSP Director himself put you over the top! Thank you!

USAF SERE
On behalf of the 308 RQS and the USAF SERE community, I would like to thank you for your invitation and the time you took to meet and train us. Your ability to instruct practical selfdefense tactics and portray true hand-to-hand combat violence of action in realistic scenarios is one of the best I have seen. Your course gave SSgt. Ben Domian and me a new and improved approach to teaching very practical and important fundamental tactics in Israeli Krav Maga (Gidon) hand-to-hand combat as well as many other valuable lessons.
Your military specific “lethality" training is qualitatively unique and different from any other courses we have attended. Through two courses with you, I have come to realize there are so many more invaluable techniques and maneuvers left to be learned. While the tactics are brutally efficient, the full development of these techniques and the proper mindset couldn't be compressed into a couple courses, and, ideally, should be obtained by spending extra time inside and outside of class.
Your extensive knowledge can never be fully taught in any short period of time, so, I hope and look forward to working with you in the future, not only to improve my knowledge of combatives, but, also to improve the whole Air Force Special Operations Community!

We have incorporated the techniques you shared with us into our own training regiment and we have seen a remarkable increase in our members training proficiency. It was definitely the right decision have you come and train my members.
Once again my heartfelt appreciation for sharing your knowledge and expertise with us and increasing our likelihood of surviving a situation with the enemy with our future missions

New Jersey Transit Police
I wanted to personally thank you for taking your own time to teach our Defensive Tactics instructors advanced level Krav Maga. Through your training and expertise our department's Krav Maga instructors will be able to pass this training on to our officers and give them the confidence, skills and abilities needed to protect themselves and others from those who would seek to do them harm.
Your expertise in Krav Maga, combined with your effective teaching style and demonstrations of proper application continue to guide our Police Defensive Tactics Program.
On behalf of the New Jersey Transit Police Department, I would like to again thank you for sharing your knowledge in such a humble and gracious manner.

Department of Law and Public Safety
I would like to take this opportunity to thank you for providing your expert instruction during the Krav Maga Law Enforcement Edged Weapons Defensive Tactics Course hosted by the Firearms and Self-Defense Training Unit, Training Bureau, at the NJSP Academy, Sea Girt, NJ on November 7, 2014. This represents an ongoing training relationship with the goal of providing top level best practices training for all members of law enforcement throughout the state. Based on the response from this course, all agencies involved had nothing but praise for the course and your staff.
Continuing education for our instructors, so that they can deliver Advanced and Pre-Service training to our members and recruits, is paramount. It is important for our tactics to continually evolve as new techniques and defensive tactics systems are developed.
Again, I would like to thank you and your staff for providing this critical instruction, and I know the Academy Staff is looking forward to working with you in the future. Your instruction and skill set is at the highest level.

Princeton University ARMY ROTC
On behalf of Princeton University Army ROTC, I wanted to express my gratitude for your recent willingness to give freely of your time to host a training session for the Army and Marine cadets of Princeton University in basic self-defense and Krav Maga techniques on 21 May 2009. You seem to realize as well as we do the frequency of close combat on the contemporary battlefield and the necessity of our warrior leaders in mastering the skills needed to avoid injury and achieve victory in such confrontations.
We recognize your high-degree of skill in this discipline and especially appreciate Krav Maga's ability to we learned and mastered in a short period of time- enabling our future lieutenants to easily adopt and disseminate these techniques within their own units. Krav Maga· seems well-suited to overcome the challenges faced by our soldiers in the Armed Services and we very much look forward to developing a greater relationship with you into the future.

Royal Marines Close Combat (RM CC)
I would like to start by saying what an informative and eye opening experience all of my team had during the seminar you and your team delivered in Portsmouth (UK) back in July 2013. The magnitude of knowledge combined with your relentless approach to adapting techniques in order to create a workable solution fit for specific military purpose was commendable. However what stood out most to my team in our reflection of the experience was the manner of its delivery as at options that could be adapted to fit any requirement or scenario/environment.
Royal Marines Close Combat (RM CC) will always look to evolve as this is at the heart of Commando business. To cross pollinate further knowledge and experiences I and my team will look to maintain links wherever possible with you and your instructors as I strongly believe this will benefit to both parties as I know you already do with other elite units globally.
If we can be of any assistance to you in future please do not hesitate to get in touch.

United States Marshal Service
The United States Marshal Service and the entire Law Enforcement Community has a great friend in Instructor David Kahn. The Krav Maga System is a no nonsense self defense system that deals with threats at all levels. David's expertise, instructing ability, understanding of the law and use of force makes him an excellent choice as an instructor for police, military and private sector. David's program has given me more confidence in my ability to protect myself and to be more conscientious of my surroundings. I could not recommend a more qualified instructor. The Krav Maga is the ultimate training course that I would highly recommend to anyone.

USMC: Iwakuni Japan
FROM: Commanding Officer, Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron
SUBJ: KRAV MAGA INSTRUCTOR COURSE
1. On behalf of Headquarters and Headquarters Squadron, Marine Corps Air Station Iwakuni Japan, I strongly recommend the Krav Maga instructor course sponsored by Warrior Elite Combatives LLC, Mr. David Kahn, and his associate instructors. The course built our readiness and our abilities as martial artists. David Kahn and his associate instructors were professionals that took mission accomplishment and instruction to a new level.
2. I have been doing martial arts over 22 years and honestly say that Krav Maga is the single most effective fighting system that I have encountered during my time as a martial artist. Most martial arts give you different pieces of the puzzle of self defense, whether armed or unarmed.• With years of practice in other disciplines you can handle most situations that you will encounter. Krav Maga allows both armed and unarmed combat to flow from the same basic and instinctual movements making it perfect for the military, law enforcement professional, or the professional house wife. Krav Maga is a simple system with brutal effectiveness.
3. I would recommend David Kahn and this program whether the basic course or the instructor course to any organization that is looking for a time and cost effective program. This program allows your organization to have world class martial arts training that is efficient and effective.

Marine Corps Martial Arts Center of Excellence (MACE)
1. On behalf of the Marine Corps Martial Arts Center of Excellence (MACE) I would like to extend my appreciation to David B. Kahn and H. C. "Sparky" Bollinger, Maj USMC (Ret.) as well as their professional training team.
3. Additionally, I would be remised if I didn't mention their instructional team; they are true professionals. Rinaldo Rossi, Ronnie Hughes, Ron Klem, Don Melnick, and Michael Gokey, are all highly regarded instructors in the U.S. and abroad. I would not hesitate to recommend any of these fine individuals when it comes to martial arts.

David Kahn on "The Warriors Manifesto" – Lt. Daniel Modell
In The Warriors Manifesto, Lt. Daniel Modell (ret.) has presented a magnificent treatise on the warrior mind-set. The exquisitely written book uses artfully crafted historical examples to underscore the lessons and observations he presents. Any casual or serious student of history will immediately appreciate the past examples of courage, fortitude, and a warrior's will to fight for his or her highest purpose. These historical warriors include the likes of Spartacus, King Leonidas, William Wallace, Yoni Netanyahu, and others.
''Mr. Modell places each historical figure not just within the context of the figure's contemporary history but of all history, facing down insurmountable odds-with the key ingredient that each fighter knew the ,odds were such. Anyone who adheres to the necessity of the 'good fight' will take stock and reaffirm heart from this cogent analysis of why men .and women stand up and stand to against aggression. Mr. Modell's insights and writing are nonpareil. This compelling book could rightly be characterized a.s martial studies, history, philosophy, psychology, military and police science, and possibly a host of other designation.s-which is what makes it all the more fascinating. The Warriors Manifesto belongs in the pantheon of great books about good versus evil. It provides a comprehensive yet .succinct example of why warriors fight."

By Far, The Best There Is — A Review
“Bottom line up front. David Kahn and his team are, by far, the best there is, and teach the best version of the best system there is. If you want to arm yourself with the best tools to survive any encounter (Civilian, Law Enforcement (LE), or Military Combat) David Kahn, and the IKMA (GS), are your best option. . . . Whether dealing with a mugger on the streets, or a foreign adversary on the battlefield. No other system is as modern or effective as Krav Maga.
The IKMA (GS) is the only true Krav Maga system under Grand Master Haim Gidon (successor to Imi Lichtenfeld). It is, by far, any agencies best option for training its’ Soldiers and/or LE officers.
The idea being, “Get fit and learn to defend yourself overnight.” While Krav Maga is designed to be simple to understand, there still needs to be much emphasis on the subtle fine points that make any technique effective. Any “master” of the system should know and be able to instruct them all. . . .David Kahn and the IKMA (GS) are true masters of the system. They will ensure that the student gets every detail and piece of knowledge they require for the techniques they are taught to be effective.

FBI: Counter Terrorism
On February 18, 2008 2 Special Agents under my supervision had an opportunity to attend your Course entitled Israeli Counter-Terror Methods and High Risk Entry. Both agents found the training to be conducted in a professional manner and the content to have practical real-world applications. I would like to thank you for making this training available to our agency and look forward to future offerings from your organization.
